Saturday afternoon, at the Lake Eden Arts Festival, a crew of us went to support our friend Mark at the Poetry Slam! Mark was up against some aggressive young poets!

A beautiful young band called Skinny Legs & All performed Friday afternoon at the Barn Stage of the Lake Eden Arts Festival!

Brown corduroy jeans, worn thin and flat
across thick strong legs flexing and bending.
Seams tight and ragged, pull and stretch.
One more load of stone and I’m done, they say.
Threads tearing here and there.
But then the muscles relax.
Laying back against the wall they’ve just built.
And in a show of pride and adoration
the jeans hold together.
And they are given a good washing.
I had a great weekend at the Lake Eden Arts Festival, in Black Mountain, NC, with my friends from Candler and Iverson Park! Good weather, great music, fantastic company, and amazing people watching! And lets not forget wonderful locally brewed beer!

A chance meeting, late Friday night!
After an hour of great conversation, and a bit of snogging, I gave him my number and hope to hear from him tomorrow!

I took a lot of pics at the GA Ren Fest, and he was by far the most scantily clad, athletic, boy working the rides!
He was cute, and I kept taking pictures, and he seemed to like that I liked photographing him!
Damn, I wish I had tried to talk to him! :)
